The shares of the Micro-Cap company, specializing in manufacturing, assembling, and designing railway rolling stock components, turnkey interior furnishing projects, and composite products, are in focus as they have rallied 8 percent in the day’s trade following the strong Business Update and Strategic Direction.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 791.01 Crores on the Day’s Trade, the shares of Airfloa Rail Technology Ltd rose by 7.62 percent, reaching a high of Rs. 345.00 compared to its previous close of Rs. 320.55.

Airfloa Rail Technology Ltd, engaged in manufacturing, assembling, and designing railway rolling stock components, turnkey interior furnishing projects, and composite products, as thye have rallied 8 percent in the day’s trade following the strong Business Update and Strategic Direction.

Airfloa Rail Technology Limited has made significant strides in FY26, reporting impressive growth with an expected topline of over Rs. 315 crore, reflecting a 64% year-on-year increase. This growth is driven by strong order inflows, a robust unexecuted order book of approximately Rs. 500 crore, and an active pipeline worth Rs. 236 crore. 

The company has also participated in tenders valued at Rs. 1,350 crore, continuing its strong presence in the railway sector, metro projects, and export-driven demand, particularly from Indian Railways.

Strategically, Airfloa has expanded into the defence sector, forming a joint venture with Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS), positioning itself in high-growth areas such as electronic warfare, AI-led defence systems, and advanced materials. Additionally, the company has strengthened its product offerings by signing an MoU with Janatics Industrial Automation to supply automatic door systems, further expanding into specialised subsystems for modern railway platforms and integrated railway projects.

Operationally, Airfloa has enhanced its project management capabilities and customer engagement while also investing in a new corporate office to support collaboration and scalability. The company is also focusing on infrastructure expansion through significant capital expenditure to meet future demands and continue its growth trajectory.

Future Direction

Airfloa’s future growth will be fueled by expanding its customer base and product offerings, particularly within railways, metro projects, and OEMs. The company will focus on execution excellence, improving delivery and project throughput. Technology integration will play a key role, advancing automation, digital engineering, and operational efficiency. 

With the joint venture in defence, Airfloa aims to scale up in high-value defence and aerospace programs. The company also plans to shift towards providing integrated turnkey and system-level solutions, while boosting export growth by expanding its international footprint through global project execution.

Financials & Others

The company’s revenue rose by 7 percent from Rs. 85 crore in September 2024 to Rs. 91 crore in September 2025. Meanwhile, the Net profit rose from  Rs. 10 crore to  Rs. 12 crore during the same period.

It showcases strong financial metrics with a Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of 31.9% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 31.0%, reflecting robust profitability. The company maintains a healthy debt-to-equity ratio of 0.27, indicating low leverage, and a favourable Price-to-Earnings Growth (PEG) ratio of 0.22, highlighting strong growth potential relative to its valuation.

Airfloa Rail Technology Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of components for rolling stock used by Indian Railways. The Company operates through key railway production units such as the Integral Coach Factory and other major coach factories. 

In addition to component manufacturing, Airfloa also undertakes turnkey interior furnishing projects for Indian Railways and supplies high-precision components to the aerospace and defence sectors. 

With over 27 years of experience, two manufacturing units, and two business verticals, Airfloa has successfully executed nine major turnkey rail projects, including Sri Lankan DEMU and Mainline Export Coaches, Agra-Kanpur Metro, RRTS, Vistadome, and Vande Bharat Express.
