Bulk Deals: 6 Stocks in focus after shares worth ₹145 Cr exchange hands

Synopsis:
A few small- and micro-cap stocks saw an exchange of hands by broking firms, Ace investors, and more; let us see which these stocks are and all about the transactions. 

A bulk deal is when a big investor buys or sells a large chunk of a company’s shares during normal market hours. It must be at least 0.5% of the company’s total shares, so the trade is publicly visible. Because these deals are transparent, they often hint at what major investors are thinking. For regular investors, bulk deals act as useful signals to understand market sentiment and spot potential trends.

Here are the stocks in focus in which firms and investors have acquired and sold stakes:

Rallis India

Rallis India, a Tata Group company, has a history of over 150 years. The company is into the manufacturing of agrochemicals and is present across the value chain of agriculture inputs—from seeds to organic plant growth nutrients. Rallis is also in the business of contract manufacturing for global corporations. 

With a market cap of Rs 5,098 crore, the shares of Rallis India Ltd fell 2 percent in today’s trading session and reached a low of Rs 261.45. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 266.85, the shares are trading at a PE of 29.9 compared to its industry PE of 29.8.  Ask investment managers have purchased 11,22,800 shares in Raliis India Ltd. with an average price of Rs 266.73 per share, aggregating to Rs 30 crore. 

Vaxtex Cotfab

VCL is a textile manufacturing company that caters to international brands, export houses, corporate buyers, domestic traders, wholesalers, and distributors. The company is also a wearable technology manufacturer that delivers engineering solutions.

With a market cap of Rs 38.6 crore, the shares of Vaxtex Cotfab. gained 5 percent in today’s trading session and reached a high of Rs 2.10. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 2, the shares are trading at a PE of 22.4 compared to its industry  PE of 28.2

Nova Global Opportunities Fund bought 75 lakh shares of Vaxtex Cotfab at Rs 2 per share, aggregating to Rs 1.5 crore, while Zeal Global Opportunities Fund also acquired 75 lakh shares at Rs 2, aggregating to Rs 2 crore. Golden Bio Energy purchased 24.8 lakh shares at Rs 2 for Rs 49.6 lakh, Winspire Project Consultants bought 16.31 lakh shares for Rs 32.62 lakh, and Neo Apex Venture LLP bought 10 lakh shares for Rs 20 lakh.

Juniper Hotels

Juniper Hotels Limited is a luxury hotel development and ownership company. The company’s portfolio comprises seven hotels with 1836 keys (including 245 serviced apartments) across strategic locations in India.

With a market cap of Rs 5,297 crore, the shares of Juniper Hotels Ltd gained 1.5 per cent in today’s trading session and reached a high of Rs 238.7. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 235.25, the shares are trading at a PE of 42.6 compared to its industry PE of 37.3  Norges Bank sold 21 lakh shares of Juniper Hotels at Rs 239.02 for Rs 50.19 crore and offloaded another 22.92 lakh shares at Rs 239.01, amounting to Rs 54.7 crore.

Ganon Products

GPL is involved in the trading activity of multiple commodities like cotton, steel, fabric, coal, etc. domestically and internationally. It procures material from local and foreign suppliers and sells them in domestic and international markets.

With a market cap of Rs 15.16 crore, the shares of Ganon Products gained 1.72 per cent in today’s trading session and reached a high of Rs 16.49. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 16.21, the shares are trading at a PE of 89.2 compared to its industry PE of 35.3

Jain Capfin bought 50,000 shares of Ganon Products at Rs 16.29, aggregating to Rs 8.15 lakh, while Kamla Business Ventures sold 1.5 lakh shares at Rs 15.51, amounting to Rs 23.3 lakh. Sahil Gupta bought 1,500 shares and sold 1 lakh shares at around Rs 16.25, and Neeraj Kumar Singla purchased 93,193 shares at Rs 16.21, worth Rs 15.1 lakh.

Sharvaya Metals

Sharvaya Metals Limited specialises in manufacturing, supplying, and exporting aluminium products, including alloyed ingots, billets, slabs, sheets, and electric vehicle battery enclosures.

With a market cap of Rs 182 crore, the shares of Sharvaya Metals fell 3.72 per cent in today’s trading session and reached a low of Rs 182. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 189, the shares are trading at a PE of 10.6 compared to its industry PE of 20.3 

Paresh Thakker bought 1.45 lakh shares of Sharvaya at Rs 187.62, amounting to Rs 2.72 crore, while Craft Emerging Market Fund sold 83,400 shares at Rs 187 at Rs 1.55 crore. 

SSMD Agrotech

SSMD Agrotech India Ltd (under the umbrella brand House of Manohar) manufactures, trades, and repacks a wide range of agro-food products. With a market cap of Rs 69 crore, the shares of SSMD Agrotech gained 5 per cent in today’s trading session and reached a high of Rs 80.45. When compared to its previous day’s closing price of Rs 76.65, the shares are trading at a PE of 12.9 compared to its industry PE of 48.1 

Radiant Global Fund bought 2 lakh shares of SSMD at Rs 73, amounting to Rs 1.46 crore. TGISME Fund purchased 1 lakh shares at Rs 76.65, amounting to Rs 76.65 lakh.  Neo Apex Venture LLP acquired 2 lakh shares at Rs 73, amounting to Rs 1.46 crore, and Shweta Ahuja sold 83,000 shares at Rs 73, amounting to Rs 60.59 lakh.
