Craftsman Automation Q4 Results: Profit Surges 74% YoY; Announces ₹11.25 Dividend

Synopsis: Craftsman Automation Ltd reported a strong Q4 FY26 performance with healthy growth in revenue and sharp improvement in profitability. The company also announced a final dividend of Rs. 11.25 per share for FY26.

Craftsman Automation Ltd is a leading Indian engineering and manufacturing company with operations across automotive, industrial, and engineering segments. The company manufactures precision and heavy engineering products, powertrain components, aluminium products, industrial equipment, and storage solutions. Craftsman supplies products to major automobile manufacturers and industrial companies across India and overseas markets. 

Craftsman Automation currently has a market capitalization of approximately Rs. 20,308 crore, with the stock trading near Rs. 8,517 per share. Following the announcement of strong Q4 results, shares surged over 10% intraday and touched a fresh 52-week high near Rs. 8,780 compared to its previous day close of Rs. 7,774.50. The company trades at a P/E ratio of 51.6, while its book value stands at Rs. 1,368 per share. From a profitability standpoint, Craftsman reported ROCE of 14.2% and ROE of 12.8%. 

Craftsman Automation reported consolidated revenue from operations of approximately Rs. 22,264 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to around Rs. 1,749 crore reported during the same quarter last year, registering a strong growth of nearly 29% YoY. Total income for the quarter stood at approximately Rs. 2,245 crore. 

The company delivered a sharp improvement in profitability during the quarter. Profit before tax increased to approximately Rs. 173 crore, compared to around Rs. 75.5 crore reported in Q4 FY25. Net profit for Q4 FY26 came in at nearly Rs. 116 crore, compared to approximately Rs. 66.8 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a strong growth of around 74% YoY. 

Revenue from operations increased from approximately Rs. 2,058 crore in Q3 FY26 to around Rs. 2,264 crore in Q4 FY26. Profit before tax also improved from nearly Rs. 142 crore in the December quarter to approximately Rs. 173 crore in the March quarter. Net profit rose from around Rs. 107 crore in Q3 FY26 to approximately Rs. 116 crore in Q4 FY26, indicating continued operational strength and improving business momentum. 

The Board of Directors of Craftsman Automation recommended a final dividend of Rs. 11.25 per equity share having a face value of Rs. 5 each for FY26. The dividend recommendation is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). 

Craftsman Automation delivered an impressive Q4 FY26 performance with strong revenue growth and sharp improvement in profitability. The company continues to benefit from robust demand across automotive and industrial engineering businesses along with operational scale-up. The announcement of an Rs. 11.25 dividend and strong earnings growth further boosted investor confidence, leading to a sharp rally in the stock price.
