Synopsis: Diamond Power bags a ₹60.53 crore GETCO order for EHV cables, boosting its ₹3,500 crore book. Can this high-voltage win reverse the recent 10% monthly slide?
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has secured a strategic Letter of Intent from the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) for the supply of approximately 270 kilometers of 66 kV Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables.
This domestic contract, valued at ₹60.53 crore, marks a significant milestone for the Vadodara-based firm as it aggressively expands its footprint into the high-margin EHV cable segment. The project is slated for completion within a 4 month window from the date of the purchase order, reinforcing the company’s ability to execute large-scale utility mandates under tight timelines.
This latest win further strengthens the company’s burgeoning order book, following a ₹31.51 crore order bagged earlier this month from Tata Power Renewable Energy for 869 kilometers of conductors across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
With a market capitalization of ₹6,317 crore and a listing history dating back to 1992, Diamond Power continues to leverage its integrated manufacturing capabilities in Gujarat to consolidate its position as a key player in India’s power transmission and distribution landscape.
