Fanatics Markets is rolling out a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 hub inside its prediction markets product, adding another sports-focused event to the companyâs growing event contract trading business ahead of this summerâs tournament.
The hub launched Wednesday through a partnership with ADI Predictstreet, the Gibraltar-licensed company FIFA named as its official prediction market partner for the 2026 World Cup. In a news release, Fanatics said the hub and contracts are available through its app and website in 23 states and four U.S. territories, including California, Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The product includes World Cup contracts alongside tournament coverage, player data and other in-app features connected to the event. The launch gives Fanatics a FIFA-linked World Cup product ahead of the tournamentâs June 11 opener in Mexico City, with matches set to be played across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
The trading infrastructure is unchanged from Fanatics Marketsâ existing setup. The World Cup markets on Fanatics are not ADI Predictstreet contracts. Like other contracts on Fanatics Markets, they are offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange commonly referred to as CDNA, and introduced by Fanatics Markets IB.Â
âWhen ADI Predictstreet was looking for a U.S. partner, it was a natural conversation given the scale of our reach to fans,â Fanatics Betting & Gaming CEO Matt King said in the release. âWe are excited to bring that experience to Americans this summer. The World Cup Hub gives fans a more immersive way to follow the tournament in real time, combining content, data and prediction markets all in one experience.â

ADI brings FIFA relationship, not the market contracts
The structure gives ADI Predictstreet a path to put its FIFA partnership in front of U.S. users without operating the markets itself.
ADIâs own platform is licensed in Gibraltar, and the company is not approved by the CFTC to operate as a U.S. exchange. Its website displayed a Cloudflare Access âForbiddenâ notice when DeFi Rate attempted to visit it Wednesday from the U.S.
For ADI, the Fanatics deal gives its FIFA rights a U.S. outlet through a regulated domestic platform. For Fanatics, it adds an official World Cup connection around soccer contracts ahead of a tournament expected to draw heavy U.S. attention. The Fanatics Markets hub uses official FIFA World Cup branding throughout.Â
âWe are thrilled to have a U.S. partner that fans already know and trust,â Dimitrios Psarrakis, ADI Predictstreetâs CEO, said in the news release. âAs a global leader in sports â through the merchandise, the moments, the direct relationships with millions of fans, their reach and understanding of the American sports fan is unmatched.Â
âAs the primary host country for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the U.S. is a strategically important market, and we greatly value the long-term opportunity this collaboration provides to strengthen the presence of the ADI Predictstreet brand in the region.â
FIFA named ADI its official prediction market partner in April, saying the companyâs platform would launch globally ahead of the tournament. The announcement drew scrutiny from The Athletic and other outlets, which raised questions about ADIâs limited public profile, licensing and ability to serve U.S. users directly.
ADI has also announced a separate World Cup partnership with DAZN, the global sports streaming platform. In April, DAZN said it would work with ADI to add prediction-market features tied to World Cup coverage, including real-time forecasts and interactive fan engagement. The DAZN and Fanatics deals both show ADI trying to extend its FIFA partnership through companies that already have large sports audiences.
What Fanatics Marketsâ World Cup hub includes
Fanatics is giving the World Cup hub prominent placement inside Fanatics Markets, with a dedicated âFIFA World Cup 2026â tab visible alongside its other main market categories.
Fanatics Marketsâ World Cup hubThe hub goes well beyond tournament and match winner markets. Fanatics pages showed contracts tied to the World Cup winner, Golden Boot winner, continent to win the championship, group qualifiers and individual matches. The match contracts are largely structured around game outcomes, with users trading on whether a team will win or whether the match will end in a draw.
The hub also includes schedule, group and knockout tabs, organizing the markets around the tournament format. A âcombosâ label on the site says the feature is âcoming soon,â suggesting Fanatics plans to add parlay-style trades that let users combine multiple predictions into one position.
One notable feature is the content layered around the markets. Fanatics pages show âmatch insightâ panels with basic team stats and matchup context. The hub also includes a âdigestâ carousel near the top of the page with short news and matchup blurbs, giving the product more of a tournament guide feel than a standard list of contracts.
World Cup could be next major sports prediction market test
The World Cup is expected to be one of the next major trading events for sports prediction markets, following heavy activity around the Super Bowl, NCAA Tournament and NBA playoffs.
The tournament is also expected to be a major sports betting event. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming recently projected $2.82 billion in U.S. betting handle for the 2026 World Cup. The firm said its forecast has âwide error barsâ because U.S. betting interest could be heavily affected by how far the U.S. menâs national team advances. But EKG said this yearâs tournament is likely to significantly surpass the 2022 World Cup, which it estimated generated roughly $900 million-$1 billion in U.S. online sports betting handle.
The 2026 tournament has several built-in advantages over the last World Cup, according to EKG, including a larger match schedule, a bigger legal sports betting footprint in the U.S. and North American host countries. Those same factors could also make the event a big test for sports prediction markets, which have grown quickly around high-profile sports events over the past year.Â
The World Cup has come up in recent comments from other sportsbook operators that have moved into prediction markets. DraftKings said in its May first-quarter update that it sees the World Cup as an important event for DraftKings Predictions, while Flutter, FanDuelâs parent company, said during its May earnings call that it plans to support FanDuel Predicts with additional investment ahead of World Cup trading.
Kalshi has also been building out its World Cup market menu, with markets tied to player participation, team goal totals and other tournament outcomes appearing on the platform and in CFTC product filings.
DeFi Rate is tracking World Cup prediction market prices through its World Cup odds tracker as the tournament approaches. You can also enter DeFi Rateâs free World Cup bracket challenge before the June 11 opener.
