Synopsis: Jaykay Enterprises Limited has approved the acquisition of Patange Industries Private Limited (PIPL) via a slump sale, marking a decisive entry into defense precision manufacturing. PIPL reported a massive 17x revenue surge to Rs. 9.03 crore in FY25, signaling rapid scale-up within the warhead and aerospace structure segment.
At the Board meeting held on April 13, 2026 Jaykay Enterprises Limited announced that it had approved the purchase of the entire business undertaking of Patange Industries Private Limited (PIPL). The deal is formatted as a cash-consideration slump sale on a going-concern basis, which further strengthens Jaykay as an advanced engineering and defense powerhouse.
PIPL focuses on engineering design, and high-precision production of highly regulated defense parts, such as warheads, bulkheads, and complex engineered structures. In the case of Jaykay Enterprises, the purchase of an already operational organisation such as PIPL will help the company save the long gestation cycle to develop defence quality manufacturing facilities and to obtain important certifications.
Shares of Jaykay Enterprises were trading at Rs. 153.56, down 1.45% on April 13, 2026. Although Patange Industries was strategically acquired, there was a wider market sell off that held back the stock.
However, investor conviction remained strong with a high delivery percentage of 52.80%, indicating that long-term buyers are accumulating the stock as it pivots into the high-growth defense and aerospace precision manufacturing sector.
Jaykay Enterprises Limited is a Kanpur based diversified listed company. This acquisition enabled it to venture into the Defence and Aerospace industry and increase its engineering and technological capacity to precision manufacturing of complex defence structures.
