Stock under ₹30 jumps 15% after securing order worth over ₹42 Cr from Gujarat Govt.

SYNOPSIS: V.L. Infraprojects, through its joint venture, secured a Rs. 42.12 crore GWSSB water supply project in Dahod district, involving pipeline and infrastructure works, to be executed within 18 months with long-term O&M.

During Wednesday’s trading session, shares of a company involved in the construction, laying and commissioning contracts in various infrastructure projects surged nearly 15 percent on NSE, after securing an order through a joint venture worth more than Rs. 42 crores from Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board (GWSSB).

At 03:02 p.m., the shares of V.L. Infraprojects Limited were trading in the green at Rs. 27.4 on NSE, up by more than 7 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 25.5, with a market cap of Rs. 43.05 crores. The stock is currently trading at a discount of around 57 percent from its 52-week high of Rs. 63.45 recorded on 21st April 2025.

According to the latest disclosures filed with the NSE, V.L. Infraprojects Limited, through a joint venture in which it holds an 80 percent stake alongside H.M. Electro Mech, Ahmedabad, which holds the remaining 20 percent, has secured a work order valued at around Rs. 42.12 crores from the Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board (GWSSB). The project is scheduled to be completed within a period of 18 months.

The contract involves a comprehensive scope of work under the Augmentation of the Hadaf Regional Water Supply Scheme on a turnkey basis, along with a ten-year operation and maintenance commitment.

The project includes providing, supplying, laying, and jointing of D.I. and PVC pipelines for rising/gravity mains; the design and construction of water treatment and storage infrastructure such as RCC elevated service reservoirs (ESRs)/underground (UG) sump, pump house, quarters, compound walls, village-level sumps, ESRs and pump rooms; as well as the installation of pumping machinery, electrification works, and connecting pipelines across multiple villages in the Limkheda and Singwad talukas of Dahod district.

V.L. Infraprojects reported a significant growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year increase of more than 21 percent, from Rs. 52 crores in H1 FY25 to Rs. 63 crores in H1 FY26. Likewise, the company’s net profit increased during the same period from Rs. 3.55 crores to Rs. 4 crores, representing a marginal rise of nearly 13 percent YoY.

V.L. Infraprojects Limited is engaged in the business of construction, laying and commissioning contracts in various infrastructure projects like irrigation & water supply, etc.
