Synopsis: Apollo Micro systems Limited has recently informed the stock exchanges that it has been declared as the L1 bidder for project worth Rs. 25.8 Crores by a Defence PSU, strengthening its defence presence and revenue outlook.
The shares of this defence company engaged in designing and developing the time critical solutions for the defence players such as DRDO, Indian Army, Indian Navy and more, were in focus after being declared as L1 bidder for certain defence related orders
With the market capitalization of Rs. 9731 crores, the share of Apollo Micro Systems Limited were trading at around Rs. 272 per equity share which is 23 percent discount from its 52 weeks high of Rs. 354 per equity and is trading at a P/E of 114 whereas industry P/E stands at 60.6
What is the News:
Apollo Micro Systems has recently informed the exchanges that it has been declared as the lowest bidder (L1) by a Defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The total value of orders amounts to Rs. 25.8 Crores and the company has not disclosed the details of products or project, and is said to be executed within a period of eighteen months.
Also recently its subsidiary company, Apollo Defence Industries Private Limited has entered into an agreement with a private company to execute the contract worth Rs. 150 Crores.

The company specializes in electronic, electromechanical, and engineering design, along with the manufacturing and supply of advanced systems. It provides wide range of strategic domains, including Missile Systems, Satellite and Space Systems, Naval Systems, Avionics, and Homeland Security.
With an order book of Rs. 785 Crores as on 30 September 2025, it has 700+ onboard technologies and is actively involved in 150+ indigenous programs and 60 DcPP programs as a sub-system partner. It has a presence in all Missile and Naval warfare programs.
Year-on-Year analysis: Apollo Micro Systems revenue has shot up significantly from Rs. 161 crores to Rs. 225 crores up 39.7 percent, operating profit increased by 79 percent, from Rs. 33 crores to Rs. 59 crores and Net profit increased by 106 percentage from Rs.16 crores to Rs. 33 crores
Quarter-on-Quarter analysis: Apollo Micro Systems revenue has shot up significantly on a quarterly basis from Rs. 134 Crores to Rs. 225 Crores, up 67.9 percent. Operating profit up by 44 percent from Rs. 41 crores to Rs. 59 crores and net profit up by 73.6 percent from Rs. 19 crores to Rs. 33 crores.
