India’s NBFC sector powers credit access beyond banks, fueling retail, MSME, and infra growth. As of 2025, total assets hit about Rs 45 trillion, with credit at Rs 52 trillion by late 2024. Growth moderated to 15-17% in FY25-26 from 20-23% prior, yet AUM eyes Rs 50 lakh crore by FY27 amid strong demand. This resilient space outpaces banks, holding 48% retail credit share.
With a market capitalisation of Rs 17,160.02 crore, the shares of Capri Global Capital Ltd closed at Rs 178.35 per share, decreased around 0.22 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 178.75 apiece.
Guidance for FY28
Capri Global aims to scale its loan book to Rs 50,000 crore by FY28, supported by strong momentum across gold loans, housing finance and MSME lending. The company expects around 40% annual AUM growth, with improving credit quality and rising demand driving a steady expansion over the next few years.
Gold loans are set to become nearly 45% of the portfolio, powered by rapid branch additions and rising customer adoption. Affordable housing is growing at 40–45%, supported by government schemes and first-time buyers. Lower funding costs and a recent credit upgrade further enhance profitability and strengthen long-term growth visibility.
Financial & Other Highlights
The company delivered a strong financial performance, with revenue rising 49% from Rs 752 crore to Rs 1,121 crore in Q2FY26, supported by robust business growth. Net profit surged 143% to Rs 236 crore, reflecting improved operating leverage, better cost efficiency and strong demand across key segments, signaling sustained momentum ahead.
Capri Global has shown exceptional expansion from FY22 to H1FY26. AUM jumped 4.1x from Rs 66,347 million to Rs 270,401 million, while customers surged 15.3x from 38,675 to 590,900. Branches increased from 117 to 1,224, and net worth rose 3.5x to Rs 66,730 million.
Capri Global has expanded its network to 1,224 branches, strengthening penetration across states. Non-gold branches increased from 174 to 382, while gold-loan branches surged from 562 to 842 by Q2FY26. This rapid growth enhances customer reach, supports faster AUM expansion and unlocks operating efficiencies across MSME, housing and gold-loan segments.
Capri Global is a fast-growing NBFC focused on gold loans, affordable housing finance and MSME lending. With a rapidly expanding branch network and strong distribution capabilities, the company is scaling its loan book aggressively. Its diversified portfolio, improving asset quality and strengthening profitability position it well for sustained long-term growth in retail credit.
