Synopsis A construction giant scores three real-estate wins in as many days, with today’s hat-trick of Large-category orders spanning luxury towers, high-rises, and villas across three Indian states.

From Mumbai’s skyline to Karnataka’s villa landscapes, a leading EPC conglomerate has swept up multiple large-ticket construction mandates in a single day – adding to an already busy week of order wins. The contracts, awarded by a single real-estate client, cover residential towers, a luxury high-rise, and villa developments across three states.

With a market cap of Rs. 5,51,217 Crore, the shares of Larsen and Toubro Ltd. are trading at a price of Rs.4,000 per share i.e. 0.38% down from its previous closing price of Rs. 4,015. It currently trades at P/E of 32.1.

Building Across Borders

Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical has won multiple Large-category orders from a valued real-estate client, each valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore, for real-estate projects spanning three Indian states.

The first order covers the design and construction of 10 high-rise residential towers in Hyderabad, each rising up to 180 metres with a two-basement-plus-55-floor configuration, along with two clubhouses.

The second is for a luxury high-rise residential tower at Worli in Mumbai, involving construction of the RCC shell and core structure reaching up to 260 metres, configured as five basements plus 63 floors.

The third order is for residential villas, a luxury hotel, and ancillary structures in Karnataka, with B&F responsible for the RCC shell, core structure, and associated finishes.

This latest haul comes on the back of a strong run of order wins for L&T this week. Its Minerals & Metals vertical bagged its largest-ever domestic metals sector order from JSW Steel – a Mega-category contract valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore for blast furnaces and steel melt shops across Ballari and Paradip.

Separately, its Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore division secured a Large-category contract from Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Ltd for a Coal-to-Ammonia-Nitrate project in Odisha. The company closed the year with a record order book of ₹7,40,300 crore, reflecting strong execution momentum across its businesses.

The B&F vertical brings strong domain expertise across residential buildings, commercial spaces, hospitals, airports, data centres, factories, and other complex industrial structures – making it a natural fit for large-scale, multi-format real-estate mandates of this kind.
