Stock rallies 18% as board to consider NSE and BSE mainboard listing

SYNOPSIS: Exhicon Events scheduled a board meeting on 20th April to consider migrating from the BSE SME platform to the main boards of BSE and NSE, subject to regulatory approvals.
During Monday’s trading session, shares of a company involved in the business of exhibitions and events surged nearly 18 percent on BSE, after the company announced that a board meeting is scheduled for the proposal of mainboard listing.
With a market cap of Rs. 741 crores, shares of Exhicon Events Media Solutions Limited closed in the green at Rs. 502 on BSE, up by around 9 percent, as against its previous closing price of Rs. 461.9. The stock has delivered positive returns of over 91 percent in one year, and has gained by about 12 percent in the last one month.

As per its latest disclosure to the BSE, Exhicon Events Media Solutions Limited has scheduled a meeting of its Board of Directors on Monday, 20th April 2026. The Board will consider a proposal for the migration of the company’s equity shares from the BSE SME platform to the Main Board of the BSE, along with a potential listing on the Main Board of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, in accordance with Chapter IX of the SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2018. In addition, the Board may also deliberate on other matters, if any, with the permission of the Chair.

The company reported a significant growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year increase of more than 63 percent, from Rs. 63 crores in H1 FY25 to Rs. 103 crores in H1 FY26. Likewise, its net profit doubled during the same period from Rs. 11 crores to Rs. 22 crores, representing a rise of around 100 percent YoY.
