Synopsis: C.E. Info Systems Limited (the parent company of MapmyIndia) became the epicenter of stock market buzz on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, after its Board of Directors approved a blockbuster sequential profit explosion for Q4 FY26 alongside a rewarding dividend announcement.
In a formal regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), C.E. Info Systems Limited confirmed that its Board of Directors convened today, May 19, 2026, to review and approve the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. The announcement immediately caught the attention of corporate analysts tracking India’s premier digital map, SaaS, and location-based IoT ecosystem.
For the final quarter of the fiscal year 2025 – 2026 (Q4 FY26), MapmyIndia delivered a stellar sequential bounce-back. The technology enterprise posted a consolidated net profit of Rs. 50.93 crore. This marks an astonishing sequential growth of 171.48% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) compared to the subdued net profit of Rs. 18.76 crore reported in the preceding December 2025 quarter (Q3 FY26).
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the net profit crawled up marginally by 1.45% over the Rs. 49.02 crore registered in the same period last year. Consolidating its top line, the company’s revenue from operations reached Rs. 145.04 crore for the quarter, demonstrating a strong 54.82% leap from Rs. 93.68 crore sequentially, and a flat 1.04% expansion annually from Rs. 143.55 crore.
A granular look at the revenue architecture reveals that MapmyIndia’s core engine digital map data, GPS navigation, location-based services, and IoT platforms remained the primary growth driver. This high-margin tech segment accounted for 87.69% of the total operating revenue, pouring in Rs. 127.2 crore during the March quarter alone.
On the other hand, physical hardware and device sales accounted for the remaining Rs. 17.9 crore. The explosive QoQ bottom-line performance was further boosted by aggressive cost-rationalization measures.
Total quarterly expenses were successfully brought down by 2.1% to Rs. 88.3 crore, down from Rs. 90.3 crore in the year-ago period, with employee benefits and outsourced technical infrastructure together forming the bulk of operational expenditures.
For the entire financial year ending March 31, 2026, MapmyIndia locked in a steady full-year revenue from operations of Rs. 474.10 crore, presenting a 2.34% annual growth over FY25’s Rs. 463.25 crore.
However, full-year consolidated net profit experienced a mild structural contraction of 9.19%, settling at Rs. 134.02 crore against the previous fiscal year’s Rs. 147.59 crore, primarily due to project execution extensions encountered during the late 2025 cycle. Operating cash flow remained firmly positive at Rs. 93.31 crore, ensuring that the technology major is well-funded for future expansion.
To sweeten the deal for long-term equity investors, the Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs. 3.50 per equity share of Rs. 2 face value each for the financial year 2025–26. This represents a handsome payout rate of 175%.
The proposed dividend will be released electronically through the National Electronic Clearing System (NECS) following formal shareholder ratification at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Shares of C.E. Info Systems Limited declined 3.32% to Rs. 934.50 on May 20, 2026 around 11:35 IST, compared to the previous close of Rs. 966.60. The stock opened at Rs. 980 and traded between Rs. 933.35 and Rs. 1,014.95 during the session. Around 6.88 lakh shares were traded with a total traded value of Rs. 66.72 crore, giving the company a market capitalization of about Rs. 5,121 crore.
